1. 101 Ways to Monetize your App
There’s more than one way to skin the app cat: selling your app for 99 cents in an app store isn’t the only way for you to make money! Join a discussion covering how to price your app, or how you can generate revenues from other methods, like in-app sales, sponsorship, advertising, or using a freemium service model.

Laura Diaz,

Verizon

2. Cross Platforms -The Sequel:  Way more than just Porting
A discussion about cross-platform development often revolves around porting apps from one platform to another, but for the best and most efficient cross-platform strategies, that is just the beginning!  Come learn how to make clever use of cross-platform services like network enablers, operator APIs and other resources that enable you to most easily and efficiently extend your reach across platforms.

3. Know your Customer and Score More Users
What do you know about your customers and how they use your app? Gaining an effective knowledge of your target audience before your build and then integrating a feedback loop as to how they use your app is crucial for success in a competitive marketplace. Find out some basics of Verizon customers, and how you can best use analytics to build on this knowledge, support your success and drive downloads.

ZosComm
TJ Vitolo,

4. Workin it with new Brew features
Learn about the evolution of the Brew platform and the changes Verizon has made to how it supports Brew apps, including the new Open Catalog.

Sean Thompson, GoSub60
Clayton Johnson, Verizon
Justice Hearn, Verizon

5. Getting More Than 9 Lives Out of your App
Most apps have short lives. One study found that just 5% of free apps get used for more than a month after they’ve been downloaded. How do you account for this in your development planning process.  How many versions should you plan for?  How can you keep users interested? Discuss your strategies for app product management and learn how you can keep users engaged and build loyalty.

Shiva Mathapathi, Mobifusion
Matthew Schwartz,
Verizon

6.  Stop Sucking Wind with your App
You’ve developed your app, and got it onto an app store.  Now, how do you make a success of it?  How do you drive downloads, how do you monetize, how do you create stickiness, how do you create a sustainable business, and how do you get noticed, get above the noise, and get traction?

Description:

Our UnPanel takes the typical conference panel and turns it on its head by getting the audience talking as much as our UnPanelists. This is the way to add YOUR voice to all the great things Verizon is doing in opening up their network to you.

Are they moving fast enough for you? What are the processes, APIs, resources you need now. But hold on there... isn't our industry moving too fast sometimes? Let's also delve into ways to ensure you have the right information on customers, tools, certification and other announcements so you can stay on top of your game.
