I had the pleasure of being a jury member for the 2008 Smaato 2008 Mobile Advertising Award. A great competition to showcase some great examples in mobile advertising, which is going to be a major source of revenue for our apps.

Carnival of Mobilists – last post of the year

For those of you not familiar, every week a group of mobile bloggers (Mobilists) take turns hosting and promoting the best blogs of the week. It's usually a great roundup of what is happening in our mobile community, so well worth the effort to check it out.

This week, and the last host of the year is C. Enrique Ortiz at About Mobility. Enrique does a nice job of summing up the posts ranging from technical, UX, 2009 predictions, and comments on how the economic crisi is affecting our small companies. A few interesting blogs on Trutap, a company that I have been pleased to be on the board of for the last year, and who has unfortunately given layoff notices to its staff, but still is working hard to uncover any last stones for funding or acquisitions.
